Specifications Jeweler's kits come complete with a 1/6hp SR or 1/3hp TX motor, variable-speed foot pedal control, choice of handpiece, and 42-piece jeweler's accessory kit. Simply add your choice of standard motor hangar or Work Bench System and you are ready to go with your custom jewelery projects! You can further complete your bench with a wide selection of sintered diamond carving burs and bits for stone work, tungsten carbide bur sets to shape and refine your jewelry, and a selection of other rotary burs, bits, and brushes to suit the job at hand. Motors and speed controls are backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty. ⚙️Maintenance kits and full tune-up kits are available when your flex-shaft starts to show signs of wear. Select Your Motor Series SR Motor is Foredom's most popular and best motor for general use. The 1/6 HP ball bearing hang-up style M.SR runs in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000 RPM. It comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging, and the standard 39 long key tip inner shafting for connecting to Foredom's key tip handpieces. Series TX Motor is Foredom's most powerful flex shaft machine with 1/3HP permanent magnet DC motors featuring the latest in flex shaft technology. These ball bearing models utilize advanced rare earth magnets in place of the wound fields in universal-type Series SR motors that deliver more torque at the low end and throughout the entire speed range of 500 to 15,000 RPM. No other flex shaft gives you greater control of the cutting tool, drill, or bur under any load.
